Haunted History: Lincoln Park Walking Tour
Seasoned Chicago historian and ghost expert, Tony Szabelski, led members through haunted Lincoln Park sites like Couch Tomb, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Ulysses S. Grant statue, Carlson Cottage, and more.
Obama Presidential Center: Model Bus & Perimeter Tour
Presented in partnership with the Obama Foundation, members enjoyed an exclusive on-site overview of the future OPC’s construction and learned about its community impact.
“Fluddles” Film Screening
Presented by CPF and The Wetlands Initiative at the Music Box Theatre. Celebrate American Wetlands Month with the Chicago Premiere of Bob Dolgan’s “Fluddles”, a film about the wildlife of Illinois wetlands. Followed by Live Music, Panel, and Director Q&A.
“Monty and Rose” Film Screening
Celebrate Earth Week with Bob Dolgan’s documentary on Chicago’s beloved piping plover pair and their story at Montrose Beach. Followed by Environmentalist Panel.
Lincoln Park Art Walk
